"Earthrace" Powerboat Visits Indian River Marina

Boat burns clean biodiesel

(Indian River) - The Indian River Marina welcomes the "Earthrace" powerboat on its world tour before attempting to circumnavigate the globe -- travelling more than 24,000 nautical miles in less than 65 days.

The Indian River Marina is located in the Delaware Seashore Park, the 2,825-acres state park bounded on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the west by Rehoboth and Indian River Bays. The marina offers boat slips and dry stack storage, as well as extensive services for boaters and fishermen. In addition to offering soy biodiese4l fuel, the marina's ship store sells environmentally-sound, soy-based products, including engine oils, cleaners, degreasers and detergents.

For more information about the marina, contact the marina office at (302) 277-3017 or visit the marina's website.
